FoamFlex200 is an innovative patented oil absorption technology. The FoamFlex200 consists of open cell oleophilic polyurethane foam with a hydrophobic effect of more than 95%, delivered in a variety of useful configurations and formats. This allows the recovery of spilled oil without the inclusion of water. FoamFlex200 can absorb more than 30 times its own weight of any type of oil. Using a wringing process, it can be reused for more than 200 cycles. Two Pounds of FoamFlex200 can absorb about 6 Tons of oil. FoamFlex200 enables a much higher level of performance in oil cleanup in terms of cost, speed, efficiency and effectiveness, minimizing environmental impact.

FoamFlex200 is a fast, versatile and easy to use response method. FoamFlex200 performs the absorption of tons of oil with a minimal amount of product. Its compact stowage size and effectiveness in any condition makes it the ideal emergency equipment specification for confronting unexpected spills. The speed of deployment and rapid absorption characteristics of FoamFlex200 limits damage due to weathering phenomena: sedimentation, stain expansion, toxic exhalations. In addition to supplying absorbent mats of different formats and sizes, Test1 has developed specialized mechanical wringers capable of extracting up to 21 gals/minute of oil from saturated mats – allowing instant redeployment to ongoing oil cleanup activities. For extreme versatility in emergency situations the mechanical wringers can be powered electrically, pneumatically or manually.
